A Pair of Corner Cabinets and a Picturesque Makeover, Plus a Home on the Eastern Shore

Hello! I am here to share a picturesque makeover with you today!

These cabinets are little corner cabinets that my mother-in-law picked up for me from her local Restore (I have her well trained!). They had a factory green finish with a kind of Greek inspired (?) motif. I think that corner cabinets are unusual to find and these were definitely great candidates for a makeover.

To create this look, I layered three different chalk mineral paint colors and applied a transfer. They were sealed in clear wax. I think they are very picturesque and this transfer from Dixie Belle is my favorite so far.

I am trying to share more on my website but wow, life has been crazy lately! My son graduates from college tomorrow, my daughter and I leave for London (fingers crossed) to get her settled in for her semester abroad, plus the best news EVER…we bought a little cottage on the Warwick River on the Eastern Shore in Secretary, MD! I will share more with you as we go along, but for starters it is over 100 years old and needs a ton of work, and I am over the moon with it!

Below is a quick video. I hope you love it like I do and see the potential!

Have a great week!
